Watermelon!

Last weekend I finally talked Jamie into stopping and getting us some watermelons from a man selling on the side of the road. (I refuse to buy them in the grocery store.)

Mathias and I ate a half all by ourselves!

 Analy enjoyed it as well but limited herself to just one slice.

 Since our purchase, we have had generous people at our church sharing loads, literally. All I can say is "keep them coming!" This pregnant lady LOVES watermelon! When people tell me it looks like a I swallowed a watermelon they are pretty much right!

Little Girls and Little Boys

Analy loves being a "little mama" to her dolls and toys. She loves to carry them around and share whatever she is eating or drinking. She likes to rock them in the rocking chair, wrap them in blankets, and feed them a bottle. It has really been amazing to see this behavior develop in her. To be honest our home is consumed with way more cars, trucks, and trains, but she has gravitated towards cuddling and babying.

The other day she wondered away from me and I found her out in the blueberries with her baby dolls.

She was actually feeding them blueberries. Jamie had been biting blueberries in half for Analy so she was doing the same for her babies. (Notice the blueberry half crammed under the baby's arm.)

Don't worry she was still eating plenty herself!

But the baby got it's share!

Mathias still prefers the dirt and trucks!

Blueberries and other yummy stuff!

Our blueberries are just beginning to ripen. They're at the stage when you can go out and pick your own snack. Analy is absolutely loving it. She's really good at picking just the ripe ones. Mathias still picks green ones but we may can blame that on his father's color blind curse. I forget how the genetics work with that.

Anyway, here's Analy filling her belly with blueberries.

 "Aaaaah" see all the blueberries in my mouth!

We are also getting a few peaches this year...

 But Analy prefers to throw them like balls.

 We also have carrots...

 which Analy really doesn't care much about.

 Our blackberries are also beginning to ripen.

 They're still a little sour so Analy liked feeding them to Daddy.

 Analy discovered our dog Nyla enjoys blueberries.

 It's always fun to share.

We've expanded our garden some more this year.

It's a Boy!

It's a healthy baby boy! Everything checked out great at our ultrasound this week. We are half-way there to meeting our baby boy in September! Here's a profile shot of the little guy.
