Outside fun

Our family loves the cooler weather outdoors.  Two weeks ago they were still playing in their kiddie pool. They enjoy driving their Gator around the yard, riding their bikes, and making up games. It is so nice to be outside!

Home School 2014

School is going great for us this year. We begin our 8th week tomorrow! Mathias is in first grade. He loves to do special crafts and projects. History and science are his favorite subjects. Analy is in kindergarten and is doing a great job learning to read. Jude LOVES to color and listen to books. Evelyn Grace enjoys crawling around playing with whatever she can find. Days can be pretty hectic but it is definitely rewarding!

Cutie in the Mirror

Jude is 3 years old!

I’m not sure how this happened but we celebrated Jude’s third birthday yesterday! We “camped out” in the living room Monday night. The kids stirred around and finally fell asleep around 10pm. Analy and Mathias were up early around 6am but Jude slept, sprawled out in the middle of the living room, until almost 8am!

When he finally woke up, he opened his presents. It was like Christmas for the little guy! He got Star Wars telepods, Transformers, Scooby-Doo, and super hero stuff. After breakfast, we all headed to Chuck E. Cheese’s to celebrate by riding rides, playing games, and eating lots of pizza.

When we got back home, we enjoyed some birthday cake! This year’s cake was Transformers (Optimus Prime to be more specific). Jude was really cute trying to blow out his candles. It took him forever to finally get them all out.

I think I can safely say he had a special day. He kept telling me “Mama it’s my birthday.” We pray you have many, many more sweet boy! We love you!!!
