My little girl started her big adventure today! I can't wait to hear all about it.

Trick or Treat Fun!

This weekend we enjoyed a trick or treat hayride and trunk or treat at our church. Analy and Evelyn Grace were fairies. Mathias was a hunter. Jude, well he insisted on being seaweed, glowing seaweed at that. Evidently it is based on a Scooby Doo character who is a scuba diver covered in glowing seaweed. He was as happy as can be with what I created for him so I guess that's all that matters. The kids had a blast at both events. We have enough candy at our house to last until next year!

Vacation!

I don't get to use that word much but Jamie and I went on a vacation by ourselves a couple weeks ago. It had been 2 years since we had taken a trip in our own. It already feels like the very distant past!

We had a nice time in north Georgia relaxing at my uncle's house in Helen.

Jamie celebrated his 37th birthday while we were away and requested we wait to have his cake at home with the kids. Everyone loved that! 

I'm hoping are next trip together will be sooner rather than later.

Pumpkin Patch 2014

Today we made our annual trek to the pumpkin patch hosted by the FUMC in Alachua. The kids always have a blast. They enjoy running around the hay maze, hayrides, and, of course, hunting for the perfect pumpkins. Happy Fall Y’all!
