Thanksgiving 2012

We spent the week of Thanksgiving in GA visiting with our families. Here’s the crew packing for the trip.

Mathias got to go “hunting” with his dad, granddaddy, and cousin a couple of times. He had a great time and came home with a bag of old cow bones, a turtle shell, and a squirrel tail. He even saw a 6-pointer!

Analy always enjoys having her toenails painted by her aunt. Such a girly-girl!

We attempted to get some family photos while we were out at Mema’s for supper.

Next we headed to Nana and Pop’s for a few days. The kids love playing in their yard.

 

I also couldn’t resist trying to get some photos of the kids in the field of broomsedge.

It was a full week of family, food, and fun! Praise the Lord!

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

We decorated our home on November 17! We were leaving for the week of Thanksgiving and knew we wouldn’t feel like decorating when we returned. Plus, Mathias and Analy have been begging to get down the tree and decorations since we stored them in the attic last year!

Happy 3rd Birthday Analy!

On November 17th, Analy turned 3 years old! She has always seemed older than she actually is so it really wasn’t a big deal to me. She is still all about princesses, with the addition of mermaids. We always start off birthdays with presents.

Photo Fun

Mathias asked me today if they could dress up, make a leaf pile, and take pictures. It sounded like a good idea. Maybe we got a Christmas card photo or two?

For Analy’s upcoming birthday, we went to Magic Kingdom to see the princesses. Jamie, Mathias, Analy, and I went down for the day. Jude stayed behind with Ms. Katie and Mrs. Tina. (Don’t worry he said it was okay!)

I’m not sure if he was just overwhelmed by the whole princess thing or what but he didn’t want to hang around them.

I really didn’t take many photos. We spent most of our time walking from ride to ride or standing in line. I did get a few.

In jail with the bad guy from Toy Story. On this ride you shoot bad aliens and get points. I got about 30,000, Jamie got around 80,000, but Mathias got over 300,000! He was ranked a “Space Ace.”
