My Birthday Weekend

Jamie always teases me that I don’t get just a birthday, it’s always a weekend. This year has been no exception. My parents came down Thursday for my birthday supper. Friday we went to explore the Florida Museum of Natural History. This is the kids favorite spot in Gainesville but the first time Nana and Pop had joined us.

Pop even treated us to the butterfly rainforest. It was so hard for Analy to survive not being able to pick flowers and grab butterflies. Jamie and Jude were our butterfly charmers.

My parents surprised me with a new set of wheels for my birthday!

And all of this on Friday of my birthday weekend! I’ll post more later!

Easter Eggs

Our church uses real eggs for their hunt so Mathias and Analy worked hard decorating a couple of dozen of our chickens’ finest eggs.

Backyard Camping

Friday evening, Jamie, Mathias, and Analy camped out in a tent in the backyard. We had a campfire complete with roasting hotdogs and making smores. Jude and I went inside to bed but the others stayed out the entire night! Maybe someday we will venture farther than our backyard!

MPBC Easter Egg Hunt

Today we had lunch and an egg hunt after church. Mathias and Analy woke up ready to get their baskets and go!

Analy was very excited about a new dress and hair bow that she picked out all by herself.

The Easter bunny even made a visit. The kids loved him!
