Water Fun!

The pool is a little cool these days but the sprinkler feels great! And yes, Jude is playing in a plastic box. Our kiddy pools have had it for the summer and he wanted to join in on the fun too!

The Big O-N-E!

Happy Birthday Jude! I know I’ve said it a million times, but I can’t believe this little guy is one year old. This year has flown by! We had a nice lunch with our guest, Mrs. Tina. Then we all enjoyed cake! I chose a puppy for Jude’s cake since he loves dogs.

That was fun!

Now time for presents! Jude got several cards, some clothes and shoes, a book, a tricycle, and a few toys. Analy and Mathias were all over the presents! They have no will-power when it comes to other people’s presents.

Jude did enjoy eating the paper a little too much! Here’s Mathias trying to get some out of his mouth and getting his finger nibbled.

Miscellaneous Stuff

Splash Park

This morning we went to the splash park to celebrate that everyone is finally well after being sick for over a week. Herpangina attacked everyone in our home. (Yeah, that’s what I thought when the doctor identified it for us, so google it and find out what it is.) Jude was the only one that suffered a few days. Mathias and Analy fortunately had very minor cases.

Anyway, we are all well and clear now so we left the house for some fun! It was a perfect morning. Since kids are back in school, it wasn’t crowded and my kids we able to enjoy the water.

We finished off our morning with lunch from McDonald’s. The kids had earned free kid’s meals from the summer ready program so what the heck! We may just have to visit the splash park again next week!

End of Summer Days

At least I hope summer comes to an end soon! I really dislike this time of year. It’s still super hot and humid, the ants and mosquitoes are bad, and I feel like Fall can’t get here soon enough. The kids don’t seem to mind it. They don’t complain about the ants or mosquitoes and they love that they can still swim or play in the sprinkler. Our muscadines are ripe so the kids love picking their own snacks. Here are some photos from a lazy Saturday afternoon.
