Since Jamie and I grew up visiting “Christmas in Dixie", we’ve been keen to find a nice place to go see lights with our family. This year we tried out the Festival of Lights at Stephen Foster State Park. We were pretty impressed (but nothing will ever beat Christmas in Dixie!).
We started by checking out the Arts and Crafts area.
After stopping for a bag of popcorn, the kids made ornaments at the pottery house.
Photo-op with the gingerbread man.
Some of the popular attractions – the tower, one of the many wrapped oaks, and the mansion.
Mathias liked to get up close to the displays.
Everybody had a good time. We think it may make our “to-do” list for Christmas.
